Does SF have no type of independent "inspector general"-positions, or dare I say.... a public advocate? Do we just rely on @dennisherrera , @chesaboudin , and Mayoral subordinate to investigate their "family" and friends and expect them to be hard-hitting?

@AaronPeskin got tricked bc @SFCityAttorney & @SFMayorsOffice knew they had to cut the largest ethics violation/fine in SF History 4 @LondonBrood while @sfbos was on recess. Former @SFCityAttorney + @sfethics Chair Ambrose worked up the Stip/staff 2 Commissioners? “No questions!”
