Not Jewish. Never been to #Israel . Never seen Ivanhoe. Never read a single book by #AmosOz No big fan of falafel. Don't like most of Israeli music... Can't stop standing up for Israel and against antisemitism though... It's the right thing to do.

I wonder what Israeli music you’ve listened to? There are some amazing Israeli artists/singers.

To be honest I haven´t made a diligent effort to search for it but only what I´ve heard at friends places, in church and at Israeli manifestations. But I do LOVE this:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xF7UVW6PLig …

Okay... this is good, don’t get me wrong, but it’s not Israeli!!! Can I recommend you look up the Israeli artists Idan Raichel, Omer Adam, and Eyal Golan? If you want more specific song recommendations, happy to send you.

Yes, they are all on Spotify. As for the Idan Raichel song, “Mima’amakim,” that’s one of his most famous songs and one of my faves. No idea what your style is but he’s got quite a variety.

        It´s the "eastern-chanting" I don´t like. I loved this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WLMmX17D2uw … This one was ...ok... but just like traditional spanish:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4t2GDIoquE …

And I listen to everything...except reggae...not big in hip-hop either (except when some good dancers dance to it). There is often an "attitude" in both reggae and hip-hop that irritate me. I listen to music with my head. And to worship with my heart.

The Omer Adam song (Shnei Meshugaim, with the pink CD cover of a couple dancing) is one of my favorite songs ever. Also try his songs Noetzet Mabat, Paam Bahaim, and this one:https://youtu.be/JRwXl_vuVB4

I’m sorry, but I had to stop at falafel. Look, defending against antisemites is fine but if you don’t love falafel, everything else you do is tainted. It’s like belonging to the Flat Earth Society while claiming to love science. You’re either with us or against us.

Lol. Man, you’re hardcore. I want you to know that your sacrifice is noted and appreciated. There are certain things that men who truly belong with us must do. Falafel is one. Circumcision is another...

If someone told me as an adult to do it, I'd also have deep reservations. Apparently, that's why we don't ask.

Lol. If it was required of me to have a part in a covenant I desired, I'd do it. It's only a piece of skin. Never understood all the fuzz non-Jews make of this.

The main thing I have against Israel, is what they have done to Palestine and its people. Totally against antisemitism though, but just as strongly against the apartheid style human rights injustices done to Palestinians-

The "apartheid" accusation only reveal to the rest of us that you don't know what you are talking about. Where is the apartheid? Shared beaches, all public spaces and offices? The same rights to EVERYTHING according to the law? The same possibilities to a life worth living?

A former president (or was it former prime minister), who is Jewish, was tried & convicted for corruption. The presiding judge was a Muslim Arab -if I am not mistaken, a Supreme Court justice. The only smear more ridiculous & vile than apartheid is the accusation of genocide

You're 100% correct. It was the former president that got sentenced to jail by an Arab judge.
