yeah each generation will mostly have some new build as they're *based* on whatever OS being developed as the device is being developed (so this one will be based on iOS 14 most likely)

It’s most likely PVT, and I don’t think there’s been a single PVT in history with engravings (aside from fakes). PVTs are identical to prod in every way.

exactly, most likely a fake, it doesn't even look different from a 12 Pro, so must be like a real late prototype or it's just a 12 Pro running some XCode
