In some prototype stages, the exterior aspect isn’t that much defined. Could be a shell and screen implemented just for keeping the components together. I believe it’s real looking the packaging and stickers/films that come with it. It could be fake too, we’ll never know

Yeah but regardless the shape looks bad, too big and too squared... the reason I switched to the X ( XS Max ) from the 8+ was because I got really fed up from that squared screen, rounded gives a better feeling.
