I don't know who needs to hear this but it's possible to believe that Black Lives Matter, be deeply committed to ending systemic racism, and have awareness of our cultural toxicity around racism while also not particularly caring for an individual Black person This feels obvious
Humans, as a group, are a bit shit. All groups have individuals that aren't awesome It's a huge mistake to apply systemic logic to individuals. Libs weaponize this to shut down debate. So does the far right when they find a POC willing to go along with them Don't fall for it
