It's always super weird to me when people are like "aha! You noticed RACE therefore you are a RACIST checkmate lib" 1. Everyone sees race, we live in a society 2. Can't see systemic racism if you don't see race. Super convenient that observing systemic racism makes one racist
This idea that if I observe racial disparities that means somehow I'm the one who did a racism is wild to me. I'm not a developmental psychologist but "if you see something that means you caused it" strikes me as...an extremely undeveloped way to view the world
