I renewed mine 9/18. 1 person of color, about 20% wore masks. Instructor didn’t. Also made fun of anti-trump ideas. Previously working in LE and having to go through DPSST for training, I had forgot how casual and lacking of actual information these classes provide.pic.twitter.com/gXRa5MiEbb
I'm taking mine through Blackstone gun safety and I have to say so far in very impressed. Actual info and a lot less of that macho/far right bullshit than I'm used to (Not none, but way less)

Two things I learned getting my permit: 1. In learning the language of gun culture, getting common sense gun safety legislation won't be as hard as some think. 2. Despite the chuddiness, Crossbreed Holsters are the best for all day comfort if carrying IWB.

I would love to read a blog post where you elaborate on point 1. Also: "not as hard" because the legislation is simple or because there's wide approval among gun fans for such legislation?
