It wouldn't surprise me one bit to learn at some point that the cops and the chuds are packing cellphone jammers. Illegal as hell (FCC do NOT approve), but not overly complex devices to find/hack together, if my memory is accurate?

Ah really? I missed that, wonder what the FCC thought of that... It makes sense, they're trying to restrict communications as much as possible to make it harder for folks to organise.
