This happens to me too. I was misdiagnosed as Bipolar II (long story) but actually just had really bad anxiety/med reactions. Either way, my mom and husb often treat me like they think I'm some irresp, incapable person any time I show emotion. Frustrating, sad
It's incredibly frustrating. I'm so sorry this is something you deal with regularly and I hope you can all get to a place where you get to experience human emotions without being pathologized
