I did an entire undergrad thesis on the groups that come in to protest in Portland. "Far right" usually refers to people who believe things outside of traditional mainstream Republican thought as curated by establishment institutions, especially magazines like The National Review

I cannot guarantee you that every person here was far right. Their patches, demeanor, and words indicated that they were Maybe I should have asked them. However, the moment I walked up I was threatened by a guy wielding an AR-15, so I'm not sure that would have gone well
