Anyone can hit a straw man with an arrow. Systems are different from people in a way that people are not different from cells. People and cells exist. Systems are projected patterns from your imagination. They do exist, but not on the side of the equation you’re putting them on.

The individuals are already there before you weave them into your pattern/system, and can’t be reduced to it. Take away their forest, and you’d better have something that works just as well or better in place, or they’ll be stumps, not people. Tombstones.
