It's possible that this event is taking place at the Vanport Historical Marker rather than Historic Vanport. The fact that it's hard to tell is itself troubling. I am at the Vanport Historical Marker which has the advantage of not being a deathtrap, but not much else

One advantage of this area is it's hard to drive to. The Proud Boys will have a car caravan, and they'll have to single file in if they decide to go here Again though, the event flier say "Historic Vanport," which is the kettle-dream I described above

Have you heard if the little old ladies are going to try and show up to protect their roses? I keep having horrific thoughts about this. Not about the flowers, which would be very sad to see destroyed, but about old ladies getting caught up in a clusterfuck of gas or far worse.

All great points. It sounds like the governor is pulling out all the stops as far as manpower with OSP in control. Best outcome for saturday would be for the PB losers to be stuck in the park, surrounded by OSP and twiddling their thumbs ...instead of getting what they came for
