      To this day I am continuously embarrassed by all the things I don't know and should. Public education, right-wing upbringing. I keep working at it but the gaps in my knowledge remain horrifying

      I was public educated. Been trying to fix that for a long time. Key is to find how you learn best. For me it's conversation. Learned so much playing checkers at the VA and chess with a rabbi. Books aren't always the best sources

          I see that a LOT. Long as you're trying to grow your on your journey to being a human being and not just a people. Doubt I'll ever get my aged guru butt to that level but it might be the path and not about the destination.
