Cool so does this mean you're going to answer my question about how you think we should respond to this? I'm guessing no but feel free to surprise me

you don't need to be rude. 1. Have demands (as specific as possible) 2. Plan protests (actual civil disobedience - eg. blocking strategic roads, disrupt systems (put pressure on Gov) 3. DONATE to LEGAL FUNDS!!!!!! 4. DONATE TO ORGS/VOLUNTEER https://www.nnirr.org/drupal/border-groups …

Consistent system disruption with very specific demands gets more legislation passed that bursts of petty crap like spray painting the inside of a building. 5. Get optics. Trump is playing an optics war with these buildings. Dont give that to him

I was being rude to the person who called me a moron and a "B" (it's twitter, you can curse), not you I appreciate your response. I do think that outbursts of emotion like this are often the beginning of movements that can be harnessed in the ways you discuss

I also think actions like this--not so much the spraypaint but invading space--put pressure on systems I hear you on optics, but I've been to a lot of peaceful demonstrations described as riots by the police and news next day. Seems like the optics are bad no matter what we do

I'm all for taking the optics back too. Trump lost a lot of support when the moms and vets were out there. When the old man was pushed by the police in Albany he lost a ton of %points. At night some of us breaking curfew brought out church leaders. Get them out

This is what I mean by be strategic. I do not mean be passive. God no. I mean think through it all. I got my coworkers from hospital out in scrubs (the med vets to wear their vet shirts). this all puts pressures on the govs to pass legislation and gets public to support cause.

I realize you care. Thank you. I am beyond angry and disgusted. Don't let down the fight. Don't get exhausted. Be safe, take care of each other out there. Honestly, some of the best marches were when the women organized. Lets keep fighting and informinghttps://twitter.com/IssaKhari/status/1287547990790610947?s=20 …
