Every day that passes it gets weirder to me to see people tweeting about the election in a context that isn't "what kind of civil war will we wake up to on November 4th?"

I’ve been trying to prep my more “square” friends for this. I think I scared a coworker recently when she asked me earnestly what I thought would happen in November, and I calmly explained multiple reasonable outcomes that led to some form of civil war.

I dropped this kind of thing on my family group text yesterday, after weeks of agonizing whether I should, and other than my fantastic niece who I know is on the same page, my family was basically, “I can’t handle this!” So yeah if that’s your reaction now ...

Every time someone yells "VOTE", I wonder if they realize that ship has sailed. I mean yes, I'm still going to vote, but anyone who think we're going to have a 'normal' election is wearing some hefty rose coloured glasses.
