Antifa is not an organization, but a unifying ideology and set of tactics. Which is why officially designating and prosecuting Antifa as a terrorist organization would be such a victory for the administration. It's carte blanche to arrest anyone who protests for leftist causes

Because the context is important. "100% Antifa" is a statement and declaration that you oppose the general idea of fascism. Stating you are not a member of antifa in an interview is clarifying that antifa is not an actual organized group. It is an individual mindset.

I thought Antifa *was not* an explicit organization? Isn't that what supporters are always saying? Couldn't he simultaneously declare himself "100% Antifa" (as he did on Instagram) while denying membership in any org without contradiction?
