I feel like holding people accountable is different than throwing people under the bus at a vulnerable moment. It’s very likely this person will be doxxed, they don’t need kicked while they’re down.
I don't think this is kicking anyone while they're down, I think it's a statement of fact I also think that using this press pass was a violation of trust that has now unfairly put people at risk

Other defend streamers were told they could continue using the pass until they got new ones. We all knows press get targeted, we can’t say that trumped up charges unfairly put press at risk. Think of all of us that have unfairly arrested.

I think it is irresponsible to play onto a controversial narratives, such as false members of the press, when there was an agreement to permit use of that pass.

if an org says they're not working for them and they continue to try to use their identification that's a risk, that org is still operating and they can't borrow their credibility & continue to do things that got them disaffiliated in the first place

I don't know where this was. The police are making a point in their communications of claiming that press entered forbidden areas such as city hall or did other violations, and it is clearly a pretext to dismiss most press as fakers.
