A couple times, chuds threw something explosive into the crowd. One was a firework. A couple others were more smoke and boom than spark and I think they may have been homemade explosives. I have no proof of this, just what it looked like to me

I think it was an improvised explosive, it got caught between their shield and their arm, and did some real damage. And still no PPD.
