I just got off the phone with customer service and they filed a report but couldn't give me any info except that it was a gift and from someone who live nearby

Probably a thoughtful elderly neighbor that has seen their protest coverage mentioned in OPB/online and recognized your their neighbor. Kinda stuff such neighbors tend to do and it's sometimes a little weird when they do it anonymously.
