Our Boys in Blue are making the mistake all authoritarians make eventually: they assume everyone has the same relationship with fear that they do They really think they can beat the protest out of people, because it would work on them I don't think it's going to work here

What IS working, unfortunately, is the way police prevent journalists from getting close enough to film. We need to figure out how to deal with these new tactics I think it's going to involve more recklessness and increased risk. What doesn't, these days?

Is it a case of continue until someone sympathetic to the cause intervenes after elections or is there some other recourse I can't see /don't know about? I dont know if you know, I just wondered what mechanisms for the very necessary changes are left? 2/

I know that there is a general hesitence and resistence to discussion of the protests turning more combatatove; but perhaps a group of protesters would be interested in forming an organized corps dedicated to protecting the journalists and getting you guys into the action?
