What IS working, unfortunately, is the way police prevent journalists from getting close enough to film. We need to figure out how to deal with these new tactics I think it's going to involve more recklessness and increased risk. What doesn't, these days?

I had this done to me by PPB several times last weekend as we moved west from the courthouse. They shoved me into the people in front of me because there was no way to move faster… the entire crowd was moving quickly, as directed. Three minutes before that, they grabbed 1/

me from behind, spun me 360º and threw me to the ground where I just managed to stumble and avoid crashing down on the person they'd shoved down in front of me.
