Now an activist is yelling a protesters for staying in the park because "black folks never get a break" It's so easy to tell who hasn't been out here every night. Taking breaks are a way to ensure everyone is recovered, maintaining cohesion, and keeping the cops on their toes
Op and the person on the mic is talking about how they've been here since day 1 Man, there were about a thousand people out here on Day 1, just ask them I wasn't. I was out on Day 2. Day 1 was maybe 30 people. Day 2 was maybe 100
Sorry, this maybe isn't constructive but I'm real tired of this shit Anyway we're moving now probably
A resident is yelling at the protest. The protest is yelling at the resident "Slow down in the front!!" Not the most organized night we've ever had
You're not gonna believe this but because we didn't wait, the cops are still right here Shocking, I know. But at least we aren't being privileged so it's all worth it Riot time
Oh cool all press and legal observers have been allowed to leave Very legal
We seem to be surrounded There is nowhere to move. Everyone on the sidewalk "Where do you want us to go?" They keep telling us to move This won't end well
They decided not to kettle us. Let us know they could and then let us pass Same old shit with the press. Keeping us to the sidewalk, keeping us behind them. They have learned to brutalize with impunity. I have to get better
Reinforcements have arrived. Preparing to charge. Or retreat like last time. Who knows
Notice there's no arrest here. A brutal slam. Catch and release
The idea is to hurt people extralegally

The police have just announced that along with throwing stuff at the police and setting the precinct on fire, protesters have also "set local businesses ablaze" I certainly haven't seen any local fires
More of that shoving shit

I'm gonna figure out tweet threads someday, hand to God Not tonight clearlyhttps://twitter.com/1misanthrophile/status/1292374191312760834?s=19 …
Small group moving down Argyle past Burrage. "Cops two blocks up! Moving parallel!" The smaller the group gets, the more dangerous it is Not sure where everyone else is
The group pauses. Figures out where everyone else is. Gets ready to try and rejoin them "If they come through, say 'hands up don't shoot!' " I'm not as optimistic but we'll see
I'm the only press with this group. I'm hearing they did that thing where they kept the press back and then sprinted. I ran across a road at the last minute and I guess that made all the difference
Someone has seen someone else that tried to fight them a different time. Allegations of an attempted stabbing She really wants to have it out right now "____! This is not the time" Chants of "no justice, no peace!" keep the peace, ironically
The small group rejoins several other members of the press corps and ACLU observers Po' Shines supplies us with water. God bless Moving out now
And we've been met by the cops at Denver and Winchell Targeted arrests threatened very specifically over the LRAD. Press reminded that we aren't allowed to be here because the First Amendment is a relic of a more civilized time
I'm having trouble uploading video obviously Kat, an ACLU rep, was just arrested. It was brutal. I have video. I don't know how good it is They have corralled press away from everything They have ordered everyone without a press pass to leave
"you, bar security! No press pass. Time to go" " I'm not bar security anymore, I'm an armed security guard" "no one cares. Get out of here!"
While I'm trying to upload the actual video, I'll describe what I saw I crossed the street and she was on the ground. She screamed that they were hurting her. "No one is touching you" they said dismissively
Then they grabbed her ziptied wrists and hauled her up. I can't imagine this didn't hurt her shoulders They said she was grabbing them. "I'm not" she said Then they turned out the lights Then I turned on my light
They didn't like the light. I wasn't shining it a their eyes by they said I was while they shone a flashlight in my eyes I moved to get a better shot and damn near got arrested Video soon I hope
Final part is up. Sound on for all of thesehttps://twitter.com/1misanthrophile/status/1292391139966779395?s=19 …
Walked out with the ACLU to find the police and ambulances Heart in my throat We are told it was an accident. A scooter hit a pedestrian My relief is inappropriate--people are hurt--but it's real
Well that was certainly an evening. Home safe. Gonna have a shower beer and edit video till 7AM Speaking of beer, absolutely no pressure but if you found this helpful and wanted to buy me one, I'd never say no Cashapp/Venmo: $Misanthrophile PayPal: askmisanthrophile@gmail.com
