The police politely ask the protest to move to the sidewalk I'd forgotten what it feels like to be asked politely to do something by cops. Previous to 5/28, all my interactions with cops were like this (See: profile pic)

The counter protest and protest are now facing off across 3rd Street. And honestly, I've spent enough time amongst the chuds that I have no interest in continuing to listen to them talk about how they're driven to protect murderers by their Christianity

I ask him what he thinks the goal of this protest should be. "Reparations," he says. "We're owed a lot of money. At least forty acres" "Which would have appreciated considerably," I add "Yeah," he says. " We're gonna need some interest"

Some asshole is getting run out of the park. Can't get a straight story on why. Seems he came over to provoke and it looks like he succeeded If Black Lives Matter was as dangerous as they say, a lot more chuds would get beat up. As it is, they're escorting him down 3rd St
