The thing people continially misunderstand about fascism is that fascists have always been shockingly stupid, incompetent, proudly dismissive of thinking generally And yet they've historically managed to subjugate and destroy all the types of people who initially titter at them

Maybe I'm being harsh here, but: it's true that anti-fascists tend to be far left. A thought experiment: why is it that only the far left dependably and vehemently opposes fascism? One theory: liberalism and fascism are more compatible than most people would like to think

Leftists mostly want to implement either anarchist or communist ideas in ways that DON'T kill millions of people. Use them to create a more just world It's not an easy thing, forging a path to something better. And certainly there have been catastrophic failures. But I have hope
