This is the weirdest carnival game I've ever seen. I hope the feds brought some giant stuffiest for prizes because these protesters' aim is getting good

Y'all I am examining the thing that hit me earlier more closely and...did they mistake me for a Pokemon?! Are they trying to catch 'em all?pic.twitter.com/RR8pPQ23CK

The crowd has thinned considerably. I get it: it's 2 AM and there sure has been a lot of gas. Still a couple hundred people holding it down -

I don't want to be the fun police, but burning a tree doesn't seem safe or cool Protesters arguing about this. "Let him protest!" one yells. "Trees are our friends!" retorts another. "Trees aren't cops!" I hate it -

Yeaaaaah, I'd have to agree with you on this one. Super hate protest policing/peace policing but trees are our friends

I'm not condoning or advocating anything illegal, but maybe a tree in front of a building that houses armed combatants, with more armed men and cameras on the roofs, maybe that tree don't be so concerned with?

I'm torn. I think your point stands though. The poor trees stuck in city sidewalks. My heart. I'll ask the tree if it's still there next time I'm down. Or someone there can ask it.

I feel like the tree honestly just needs a hug at this point tbh. Humor aside I do understand this form of protest, just a lil sad about the tree. Everyone has their own right to protest how they wish at the end of the day, whether others agree with individual actions or not

I agree with you in a sense, but I also think it's OK to have opinions about whether a form of protest is dangerous or counterproductive. It's important to talk about it I didn't intervene of course, but i maintain that burning a tree is both dangerous and wrong symbolically

If you think a form of protest is dangerous it is your job TO GET YOURSELF OUT OF DANGER. I didn't see shit. I don't know shit. This wasn't as much about the form of protest as it was about the value of the tree as a living breathing thing.pic.twitter.com/rlw0bH9sFS

I agree that this is the right thing in the moment And I HARD agree that snitching is bad, I'm never going to peace police I do think it's OK to talk about tactics when the tactics aren't actively going on
