Apologies for bad threading but also: consider how white people respond to Black feelings/criticism, especially when we perceive someone as trying to help. The commentary given points out an important aspect & represents feelings that are valid. There's no attack there

...simply rejection of something not {afaik} demanded at large & has often been discouraged. We shouldn't expect gratitude for any given attempt at solidarity & {as you've been} remain open to understanding the unintended consequences of even the best intended actions.
