This is NOT me discouraging armor in these fucked-up times. But ask yourself: hour 5 of a protest--standing and running from cops the whole time--will you be able to make that last sprint to avoid end-of-night arrests? For some people that's a yes, and they should buy armor

2/ you're making yourself a target of opportunity. Most amount of gear you can wear that doesn't big you down and can be removed and stowed for ezfil if necessary.
