The 4th is always complicated for me but wow, especially this year I do not like what America is I love what America likes to pretend it is I dream of an America that lives up to that fantasy I despair that so many so-called "Patriots" openly fantasize about something else
I see chuds in my comments and in the papers who call themselves Patriots cheering on authoritarianism and it makes me wonder this experiment is dead. Or maybe it never had a chance. I don't know I still love this stupid country Happy Fourth
