Extremely fucking sad about the removal of the elk statue. It's always been one of my favorite statues in Portland even before the sacrificial fires began If last night's fire destabilized it I'm sad about that too May our sacred elk return soon

To be clear, the damage was supposedly to the base of the statue, not the actual elk. The elk was not melted in the fire, because the flames never reached him
