I'm not talking about slaveholders or statues I'm talking about humanity generally, people suck mostly but sometimes they do great things: what do we do with that? It's not a rhetorical question, but as someone who has done a lot of shitty things it's kind of a personal one

I feel like this is much more an online problem than in person; and in person people are still exploring exactly how restorative justice etc works in this context, even for some genuinely bad things. So...IDK.
