Once creators release a work into the wild it stands on its own, for better or for worse. At least that's how I have to feel because most of the books and music I love best have deeply problematic creators, and I refuse to give up the things that spiritually sustain me
There's honestly no need for all these gymnastics. We should just be thankful that profoundly shitty people can sometimes create things that make the world better instead of solely existing to vomit hateful garbage on social media
Also just buy the books used, its cool, there's lots out there. Enjoy the stuff and she still doesn't need a cut of it.
