I will never, never, NEVER forget the way the hideously outnumbered and surrounded cops at the Justice Center spoke to the crowd about repairing relationships and being on the same side... ...that is, until reinforcements showed up and they pivoted to ordering us to disperse
The protest was peaceful. There was no reason for us to disperse except that ordering it gave the cops an excuse to flex on us once their numbers were greater Fuck the police. Never believe their lies, never give them the benefit of the doubt, never leave the streets
(to be clear, that order came with tear gas, flash bang, and an advancing line of SWAT and cars)
