But why did black people vote so overwhelmingly in favor of Joe? Joe represents ALL the vices of racist policies, from education as kids, to crime, to economic opportunity that we have seen the past 20 years. But they had a chance to vote for a guy who would have changed things.

I am not saying the protestors are wrong. But I question how a community can vote so overwhelming for the candidate most distant to their needs, then say nothing ever changes?

If you're talking about the black community voting for Biden: I'm certainly in no position to talk for black folks (maybe someone else can reply) But I think it's safe to say black people aren't a hivemind and the people in the streets are probably mostly not Biden supporters

No, but at 80% of the vote, pretty close. And their parents come of the gen that always votes for the most conservative Dem, and then wonders why things don't change for the better. What does it take to move the AA commuunty to progressive policies before things get to this pass?

Does your race limit discussion? If so, we are truly doomed. Do you think you can't speak to the reasons why a community votes the way it does? That would make you pretty limited.

It stands to reason that if you're curious about the motivations of a group you might want to ask that group, since they'd fucking know

Here's a clue for both of you. Sheesh, it isn't that hard. Blacks vote for Joe the same reason rural whites vote for populists, both don't trust in their own capacity to make political decisions, so they put their trust in those they deem to share their life experience.

What a profoundly revolting generalization you just made. Do you know any black people? Have you talked to them about this? No? Just the whites? Get out

I see that you are Puerto Rican. I'm Middle Eastern. But I look white so I get treated white. Based on your AVI so do you Even if you were brown, you have no standing to talk about black people like this and I hope you deeply reflect on the way you interact with the world
