If you care more about property damage than murder you lose all moral credibility, in my eyes, to have me listen to a single word to say about injustice

I love how it's not possible to be against police brutality/ murder, AND rioting and looting....

It's certainly possible to be equally outraged by cold-blooded murder and property damage, but it makes you a shitty person

No it doesn’t and it reinforces the cycle that leads to this same point. Black folks loot and riot and declare themselves dangerous. Cops remember these events so they ramp up the force to counter anticipated violence. Someone dies. Looting returns. Rinse. Lather. Repeat.

In the past few weeks we’ve seen armed protestors storm state capitol buildings while hanging elected officials in effigy, what will law enforcement remember? Mass murderers are taken into custody peacefully, did law enforcement forget about their heinous acts?

They were being barred from a place they had every legal right to be in. That law is stupid but that state made it. Every person had those guns legally. If they don’t like the law they might want to consider changing it. Wed was mass violence on REAL people and REAL places.

As opposed to murdering a man by kneeling on his neck for 9 minutes which is totally legal If that looked like sarcasm read it again, it IS legal for all intents and purposes because police get away with it all the time, and until that changes everything SHOULD be on fire

The guy who did should be fired and tried by court of his peers. It’s called due process. This ain’t some third world country. There are processes and those NEED TO BE ALLOWED TO PLAY OUT. If it plays out poorly (not even remotely close here) then riot your damn head off.

It’s disingenuous to suggest that folk wait to see how this plays out when we’ve seen this movie over and over again and already know the outcome.

You mean like OJ? I was pretty certain he wasn’t trying too hard to get those gloves on. Again, peaceful protest and allow the process to play out. Then if another miscarriage of justice occurs then feel free to loot and shit. You can’t go from step A to step R in a few days.

This IS another miscarriage of justice. The murderer in question has already gotten away with police brutality, never kind the wider systemic abused Enough
