Thank you for illustrating my point: there's no OK way to protest in America, all protest is counterproductive. Write a sad op-ed and move along, the status quo doesn't hurt you so it's fine
This complacency is why shit is on fire, and why it should stay on fire until everyone gets what it is to be afraid to go about their daily lives. Seems it's the only thing that might inspire actual interest in fixing this shit instead of a mixture of hand-wringing and shrugging
