I love how "a step up from Trump" is suddenly the best we can hope for He can't win with shit like this. This is not a tired platitudes kind of time Or maybe I'm wrong and people will show up in droves during a pandemic to vote for the blandest campaign I can remember

I have no idea: I didn’t think that Trump could possibly win in 2016. But I think a majority of people want to return to some semblance of normality / decency / sanity and Biden offers that.

I spend a lot of time with radicals and reactionaries so maybe my perception is skewed. But I think a lot of people are desperate for real change. The status quo got us here, it's rife with injustice and oppression. I think a lot of people are disgusted with it
