1/ 40% of Americans didn’t know what they’d do with a $400 unexpected expenditure even before this happened. A $1200 one time payment plus expanded unemployment did not provide them “liquidity,” as Mnuchin had the audacity to put it.

Maybe don’t get iPhones every time a new model comes out. Maybe don’t finance a car for 72 months. Fiscal responsibility.

Maybe meet someone outside your economic class bubble and recognize that many, MANY Americans don't have the money to live this irresponsibly even if they wanted to

What economic class is that? The one worked my ass off. Kids have degrees paid for by them. Stayed in school. Got grants. Didn’t get knocked up. Yeah. Upbringing matters.

Congrats on not getting knocked up, Wil Seriously, I understand how comforting it is to believe the universe bends towards justice, that luck and birth played no role, and that your prosperity is a sign that you're morally superior to other people. It's wrong, but who cares?

Again. A leap. Never said I was morally superior. Birth? I had a choice who to be born into? Umm. Great grandfather came from Poland. He worked. Grandfather worked his way up and so did my dad. It can be done. Stop trying to blame everything but themselves.

Cool, so you were lucky enough to be born into a functional family that had amassed wealth and provided a stable, nurturing environment. Congratulations. Don't mistake your good fortune for universal reality or a level playing field within larger society

Huh? Amassed wealth? You mean a fixer upper my dad worked on after his regular job one room at a time? Many of you are plain weird and distorted. Hahaha. Wealth! I drove a Ram with 337,000 on it. Wealth. Pfffpfffff

Look my dude you're the one talking about being able to afford new iPhones every year not me. Driving a used car does not make you impoverished, holy shit
