Oh if the claim is they're crypto I agree that's not true. I've seen the claim that their audience is people who just like the aesthetic of righteous anger and use ideology as an excuse, thus are easy to flip to the right
I mean, you've just described most of the Left. Differing degrees, sure, but you've also just described a pretty big portion of intersectional twitter
I think (1) the degrees matter and (2) the extent to which it is ideology driving anger rather than vice versa is more different than you're giving credit for Like people mad about m4a not getting done or American warcrimes I get, people mad about ice cream not so much
