Rapidly running out of patience with family members who start from an assumption that, because a severe pandemic would require a massive government response and emergency socialized medicine, it can't possibly be real

I hate saying this about people I love, but I feel like I'm seeing ideological evolution happening before my very eyes. Not like, people are evolving their ideas, but people who hold ineffective ideas are quite literally at higher risk of death

To be clear: these tweets come from a place of fear and grief for people who are important to me. I'm not gloating about any of this
