Bernie supporters unequivocally switching to Biden right now are basically walking into a car dealership and said "Look, I'm 100% buying that blue car no matter what you charge me, now what's the best deal you can offer me?" This is negotiation time, not commitment time

How do you think Bernie would do if he ran as a socialist? Leave the Democratic Party behind. To my mind, he’d lose the presidency, but create a legitimate 3rd party which is a bigger accomplishment.
I don't love it for this election, because it guarantees a Trump victory It WOULD be awesome to have a legit third party, although our gov't system heavily incentivizes two parties unfortunately
