I'm more and more baffled by the #coronavirus panic. It's only slightly more harmful than flu, about the same contagious, but with only 1/100th of the cases. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

COVID-19 has a lethality rate of at least 2% Influenza is .1% If COVID-19 infects people at the same rate as the flu (which is looking increasingly possible), 20 times more people will die than do every year from the flu

Also, a far larger number of people will require hospitalization. This will overwhelm our system and and lead to other deaths due to lack of space.
