If you want to piss people off... Tell them you won’t vote. Why does this bother people so much?

I vote regularly, even though I doubt my one vote makes any difference. OTOH, if someone doesn’t want to vote, I’d just as soon they don’t, and leave the outcome to the rest of us. (I do advocate removing all barriers to those who *do* wish to vote and are legally eligible.)

Be nice if the government actually worked for me, but ut cant, because all the government can do is one size fits all solutions that arent actually solutions at all and only create more problems
-
What's your proposed solution to that problem?

Choosing not to vote doesn’t make you irresponsible or a bad citizen. This is a silly take.

Then what does a good democratic citizen look like? The one responsibility of the democratic citizen is to vote. That's the whole thing You can be a good community member, provider, and good person without voting, but you're being shit at democracy

Same reason for why you'd better own a gun or you are ungrateful and just want other people to protect you.
