In my neighborhood, a couple of miles from where the protests are happening, families are trying to figure out where it'll be safe to take their kids. They're wondering out loud if their spouses will be safe if they work downtown.

People are asking questions like: Can we take the kids to the local movie theater if gun advocates are boarding buses there? Is it safe to travel across the city? What should you do when you see out-of-towners wearing white nationalist gear "touring" your neighborhood?

And mostly, in conversations with friends and neighbors, folks are hoping these "gun enthusiasts" don't hurt anyone and leave quickly and quietly.

Wrong the VCDL has been doing this about 20 years. They sit with gun confiscation proponents and legislators. This is bad media bringing out nuts from all over.

Jesus dude you and your neighbors sound like scared children who demand the government take the place of parents. What steps have you taken to be able to protect your family

Serious question :How does law enforcement accurately determine who the *good guy with a gun* is, if one gun goes off-and the “unevenly regulated militia* responds with gunfire? Are you saying parents should be prepared to kill 2nd Amendment supporters who appear to be carrying?
