Women, who endured the first female recession in the nation’s history, have still only regained 44.6 percent of the 12.1 million jobs they lost between February and April.

2/ According to data released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the U.S. lost 140,000 jobs last month, the first month-to-month decline since the pandemic began. The hospitality, education and government fields had the largest job loss — all fields dominated by women.
