For months, polls showed Trump struggling with suburban women, threatening his margins with White women who helped him capture the presidency in 2016. Pollsters also predicted a historic gender gap this year.
Neither came to fruition.

Could it be that the people who were showing up as "undecided" in the polls were really White women who just didn't want to admit that they were planning to vote for Trump.
