    Really enjoyed the short but very sweet by Hi-Bit Studios and 8-4. The Outrun-inspired section ending on the bridge was perfect. I can’t wait to see more..

    What an excellent experience. Music and visuals coupled with solid nostalgic fueled gameplay to drive home an all round beautiful title. Hi-bit studios, you're now on my list of devs to watch for future titles. This is a Masterclass among short indie titles.

    I’ve been following since it was on Kickstarter and have been waiting for the right time to download and play on my Switch. It combines all the things I love: 8-bit art, synthwave, and 1980s nostalgia. Definitely, highly recommend this beautiful game.

    I just played through a game called 198X () by Hi-Bit Studios. It was only about an hour long, but I have to give them credit for making a truly beautiful storytelling experience. Using classic game genres and retrowave synth music to tell a story. Fantastic.

    This is a fantastic conceptual framework for storytelling. Gorgeous presentation and feels like an M83 music video for kids who grew up with arcades.

    I’ve been drifting off to sleep these past couple of nights playing on Switch. A teen’s retro coming of age story told through the discovery of faux-classic arcade games and the players who master them.
