They may well have but I cannot imagine as to why. I mentioned it because both incidents occurred around the same time & I'm not one for coincidences - I should have stated: "...it may not just be restricted to YT..." It seems to me to be a Tech issue & perhaps the both parties

They do not share code, they have an entirely different back end. The only common thing might be however is both could potentially be using AWS, I don't know.
