    Children affiliated w/ armed groups should be primarily treated as victims – regardless of whether the armed group is designated as ‘terrorist’ or not. In practice kids associated w/ designated ‘terrorist’ groups are treated as security threats. Read more:

    I'm en route back from West Africa. At the last count, fighting in the has closed more than 3,300 schools. In total, over half of 6-14 year olds are out of school. This crisis is urgent.
