Gratifying to see the Boudin recall fall short by somewhere around the number Nina Turner would have needed to flip. Small margins matter.
Sadly, we have to wait 9 months for Turner to have a shot again. But in the meantime, "what about second recall?"

When I see
@chesaboudin being the target of so much hatred, I am reminded of how many times the federal government tried to prosecute Harry Bridges for organizing, with the goal of deporting him. Every time their prosecution failed. Chesa and Harry. Two brave San Franciscans.2 replies 1 retweet 5 likes -

Maybe some day at the end of his long career, we can name a plaza in his honor too!

"I'm beginning to think this 'red scare' thing might have been something of a big deal..." Definitely worth examining the past. It's where all the history lessons are.

I live here. But it's hard to deny the frustration you might feel over people who don't jumping over, telling you what to value. Yes, I expect the second recall will be certified. No, I believe San Francisco voters will not ultimately recall Chesa Boudin. His term's not up yet.
