as someone living in a country where there is no bill of rights and no "true" free speech - it's weird to see people who have it make the assumption that every platform and every service is a part of that freedom. It doesnt really work that way. (1)

cont...They give you access to a service that they make on your acceptance of their terms. The right to free speech means you can stand on the street and speak your mind without fear, that doesnt extend to the shop youve just walked into or the online service you use. Just sayin

I've never once heard of the US government forcing a company to allow its users "free speech"...mind you I'm not an American so I'm not privy to all the news. Remember though the US Constitution was written before radio was even invented.

It also doesn't matter if it was written before telecommunication was a thing, it's a national law it has to be followed to the letter regardless, you can't just take freedom of speech away from people.
